The Children’s Summer party on Saturday the 25th of July was a great success with almost a hundred people in attendance including the children, parents/guardians and volunteers.  We invited feedback from parents who attended and here is a sample of the responses we received:

‘There was a lovely sense of community which was great to be part of.  It was a reminder of the greatest joy of life.  Being part of something and having a strong sense that we all matter.  There was an air of peace and serenity that a lot of us crave but don’t know how to access and the place itself offers an invaluable release from the everyday stresses we face’.

‘I met lovely people at the party.  Mary had a great time and is looking forward to next year already.  Ye have touched our hearts in so many ways.  I have my happy little girl back.  I can’t thank ye enough for that.  And knowing ye are only a phone call away makes it so much better too.  Thank ye’.

‘The Summer Party was very enjoyable.  It was great that the parents were included in activities.  Everybody mixed very well and it was lovely to see so many happy faces’.
