This year’s Children’s Summer Party was another great success.  Held last Saturday here in the grounds at Westbourne, we were blessed with great weather and great volunteers to help on the day.  47 children and young people along with 61 parents and guradians attended.  We had a lovley few hours of games, face painting, balloon art, nail painting, dressing up, races, basketball and other sports.  The troops were hungry after all that and enjoyed a delicious barbeque and refreshements.  There were sweet trees, delicious home baking and fruit kebabs for afters, all generously provided by our excellent loyal volunteers.  Thank you to everyone who attended and who helped on the day, here are some pictures which give a glimpse of the fun that was had!

Thanks also to The Community Foundation for Ireland who awarded us a grant towards the cost of hosting this years party, we were delighted to receive this grant.
